Adjustable shelving components from ZICO let you
create and partition storage space to meet your needs. They're
designed for sturdy, long-term use in fire apparatus, ambulances,
utility, and rescue vehicles.
Used in various configurations, they offer almost
limitless options for storage of tools, equipment, parts, clothing,
and other vital needs. The dimensions of the space can be easily
changed, and various components can be added or deleted as needed.
Mounting hardware is supplied. (ABC only.)
The components include Adjustable Base Channels
(ABC), Adjustable Slide Brackets (ASB), and Vertical Slide Brackets
(VSB). The base channel can be bolted or welded to the walls, floor,
or ceiling of the compartment. Components come in standard 6-ft.
lengths and can be cut to be desired size.
The ASB accepts plywood sheets to 3/4" thickness
(not supplied) and can be used iwth or without base channels. Wood
or metal partitions can be bolted directly to VSB.

ABC used with angle to support shelf - Base
channel bolted or welded to compartment wall with aluminum angle
attached. Versatile positioning of shelf provides more efficient use
of compartment space. Shelf material may be attached directly to the
upper surface of the angle. Mount horizontally in compartment and
attach WALKAWAY
brackets or
QUIC-STRAPS directly to the channel.
ABC Base Channel/ ASB for horizontal mounting -
Base channel may be bolted (groove provided) or welded to
compartment wall. Slide bracket held securely in place with 5/16"
square head bolt. Each bolt supports a weight of 250 lbs. Plywood
sheets (up to 3/4" thick) slide easily within slide bracket.
ASB mounted alone for vertical divider -
Separate large compartment vertically as required to mount or
support equipment. Mount horizontally to use as shelf. Equipment can
be mounted directly on the plywood sheet to slide out for easy
access. Groove provided for location of holes for attaching to
compartment. Slot 7/8" wide to accept 1" thick plywood sheet.
VSB bolted to wood or metal sheet for vertical
divider or slide out tool storage - Vertical slide bracket is
designed for use with the base channel in a vertical position.
Aluminum plate or plywood can be used to attach the vertical slide.
Ideal for use in long "through" compartments or rescue vehicle
compartments to hold small hand tools or hard to store long handled
tools. |
